We are a hidden gem of a resort in the midst of beautiful Minnesota lake country! We offer cabins, camping cabins, glamping cabins and RV/campsites with a family atmosphere in clean and friendly surroundings. Meet Your Hosts, Mike & Loellen Grzeskowiak
Mike and Loellen discovered Ruttger’s Camping Resort in the winter of 2005 while driving around the area and scanning websites for trailers. We bought a trailer on a seasonal site and have thoroughly enjoyed our summers here ever since! Our sons grew up on the lake, boating and fishing and exploring the area and we have developed a wonderful lake-family. We have watched Bill and Candy Ruttger build the resort into the beautiful property that it is today and feel privileged to have the opportunity to now share it with you. Under our new ownership and with a new name in January 2023, Sunset Pines MN, we are eager to carry on the legacy created by our friends and mentors. We welcome you to enjoy our piece of “Up North” Minnesota lake-life with your family and friends, and don’t forget to enjoy a sunset or two!

Meet Your Managers, Charles & Emily
Charles and I are currently semi-retired and are on an exciting adventure, traveling and checking off items on my bucket list. My husband is an experienced maintenance, tile installation and repair technician, while I have a background as a retired property manager.
We are blessed with 10 children and 15 wonderful grandchildren, and we absolutely love meeting new people and making friends wherever we go. We’re thrilled to be returning to Minnesota, as we’ve truly fallen in love with the beautiful summers there.
We can’t wait to connect with everyone, create new friendships, and make lasting memories along the way!
